To reduce struvite stone recurrences (reappearance of struvite stones). URINARY was developed according to the latest scientific findings. To prevent struvite stones, which often occur in cases of FLUTD (= feline lower urinary tract disease), the composition of the food was developed so that the pH value of cat urine is significantly low at 6.4. URINARY contains DL-methionine, ammonium chloride and calcium sulfate as urine acidifiers and has a low magnesium content. The pH value has been tested and continues to be monitored.
